57-594 Soft Face Hammer, 8 Oz, Plastic Head, Hickory Handle

The Stanley 57-594 is an 8 oz soft-face hammer designed to drive nails and pins without damaging delicate surfaces. The replaceable durable plastic head won't mar paint, glass, polished wood, or fine finishes, making it ideal for cabinetry, trim work, furniture repair, and restoration projects where a traditional steel hammer would leave unsightly dents.

This hammer combines a gentle striking surface with robust construction. The clear lacquered hickory handle is securely locked in an oval eye body, providing a comfortable, balanced grip that absorbs shock and reduces hand fatigue during extended use. The lightweight 8 oz head offers precise control and enables accurate nail placement in tight spaces, making it suitable for both professional carpenters and DIY enthusiasts.
