The Oatey Saddle Tee Pipe Kit is designed for tapping into an existing 3 in. or 4 in. Schedule 40 DWV (drain-waste-vent) line. The kit provides everything needed to solvent weld a saddle tee to your main drain pipe and secure it with included metal V-bolts, washers and nuts. This allows you to connect a 2 in. outlet branch to your existing drainage system.

The saddle tee accepts the incoming line either inside the socket or via a standard Schedule 40 DWV fitting. PVC construction offers years of reliable use, and the assembly can be used with a conversion gasket for cast iron pipes as well.

Features and Benefits

  • Complete Kit: Includes saddle tee, V-bolts, washers and nuts for the installation.
  • Dual Connection Options: The tee's design supports direct socket entry or a conventional DWV fitting connection for maximum installation flexibility.
  • PVC Construction: Durable plastic material delivers years of reliable use in residential plumbing drainage applications.
  • Secure Assembly: Metal V-bolts and hardware secure the saddle to the existing pipe as part of the kit.
  • Compatible with Multiple Pipe Types: Works with PVC pipes and can be used with a conversion gasket for cast iron lines.
  • Built-in Sealing: Hand-tighten the threaded access cap, which features a built-in neoprene sealing ring for a watertight connection.
