The Carlon E945H is a two-piece PVC electrical conduit expansion coupling designed to compensate for length changes due to temperature variations in exposed conduit runs. Electrical systems experience expansion and contraction as temperatures fluctuate, which can stress rigid conduit and damage connections. This coupling solves that problem by allowing controlled movement of the conduit while maintaining a secure, leak-free connection.

Ideal for use with Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC conduit in exposed applications where temperature swings occur, this coupling provides the flexibility needed to accommodate thermal movement in vertical or horizontal runs.

Features and Benefits

  • Built-In Mid-Point Marker: The molded-in indicator on the piston guides accurate adjustment and installation.
  • Dual O-Ring Seal System: Two O-rings prevent leakage and safeguard electrical components from moisture and debris.
  • Lubricated Two-Piece Design: Molded construction with factory-applied lubrication enables smooth, consistent movement throughout the product's lifespan.
  • Flexible Installation: Can be positioned vertically or horizontally, offering versatile fit options wherever conduit runs are needed.
