Rapala J05s Jointed Minnow Lure, Silver, 2 In.

The Rapala J05S is a floating jointed minnow lure designed to mimic a struggling baitfish and trigger strikes from gamefish in a variety of conditions. The lure's articulated or broken-back design creates a distinctive swimming action that exaggerates the distress movements of real baitfish, making it highly effective at capturing the attention of otherwise disinterested fish. Whether you're fishing top-to-bottom or targeting surface predators, this classic pattern delivers reliable performance.

This lure excels in challenging fishing situations, particularly after cold fronts when fish are finicky and reluctant to feed. The slow, enticing swimming action works at minimal speeds, making it an ideal choice for anglers dealing with negative feeding moods. The realistic jointed design ensures the lure moves like genuine prey, triggering predatory instincts even in low-temperature water where fish are most selective about what they strike.
