The FibaTape FDW6838-U is a self-adhesive drywall repair patch designed for quick, professional-quality fixes on walls and ceilings. Its perforated aluminum backing with integrated fiberglass mesh creates a durable, paint-ready base that handles small to medium holes, dents, and cracks in drywall, plaster, and other flat surfaces. The peel-and-stick design eliminates the need for nails, screws, or additional fasteners, making it ideal for both DIY homeowners and professional contractors who need fast, mess-free repairs.

This patch promotes strong adhesion of joint compound and paint through its rigid metal construction and perforated design. The rust-free aluminum resists moisture and impact, ensuring your repair lasts through daily wear. At 6 inches square, it efficiently covers typical nail holes and small damage without waste or over-sizing.

Features and Benefits

  • Self-Adhesive Backing: Full-coverage adhesive on the entire back surface bonds securely to the surrounding wall or ceiling without fasteners.
  • Perforated Metal with Fiberglass Mesh: The rigid, rust-free aluminum with integrated fiberglass mesh allows superior penetration and adhesion of joint compound while providing structural durability.
  • Rigid Perforated Design: The aluminum backing allows extra penetration and adhesion of compound for trouble-free results.
  • 6-Inch Square Size: The universal dimensions work for nail holes, dents, and small cracks without covering too large an area.
  • Lightweight and Strong: Rust-free aluminum construction remains lightweight for easy handling while providing the rigidity needed for a lasting repair.
