Old Masters Ascend Exterior is a water-based clear finish formulated for exterior wood surfaces, fiberglass, coated metal, and painted materials. This durable coating dries quickly and cleans up easily with soap and water, making it convenient for both homeowners and contractors seeking a water-based alternative to traditional finishes.

The water-based formula delivers strong UV protection through integrated ultraviolet absorbers that guard against sun-caused fading and deterioration. It works on railings, outdoor furniture, above-waterline marine surfaces, and exterior doors made of wood, fiberglass, or steel. Interior applications include windowsills and door frames where added UV protection is desired. This finish is recoatable in 1–2 hours, allowing faster project completion.

Features and Benefits

  • UV Absorbers: Advanced ultraviolet absorbers in the formula protect exterior wood and surfaces from sun damage and fading over time.
  • Quick Drying: Ready for a second coat in as little as one hour, reducing project timelines and allowing faster completion.
  • Easy Cleanup: Water-based formula cleans up with soap and water, eliminating the need for harsh chemical solvents and simplifying maintenance.
  • Versatile Surfaces: Adheres well to wood, fiberglass, coated metal, and previously painted surfaces, including boat parts and marine-grade materials above the waterline.
  • Clear Finish: Provides a protective, transparent coating that preserves the appearance of wood while resisting wear.
